It was about 60 degrees outside, which is why you see most people in the photos bundled up in coats and gloves. My maid of honor chose to wear a scarf to try to keep her arms a little bit warmer. I had bought an ivory pashmina to wear if it was too cold, but I ended up braving it with bare arms.
Under my dress, I had knee-high pantyhose to protect my feet, capris leggings, and a strapless body stocking that went from just under my boobs to down past my hips. I was very toasty under there! For a full review of the Ebay China dress, click here. |
I loved my dress from Dillards.com! I was SO not looking forward to going to a bridal shop, and after a bad experience with a Chinese Ebay dress, I found this one online.
I thought it looked great from the front and the back... the empire waist made me look kind of pregnant in sideways shots, LOL. But for $160, I was pleased with it. I did remove the gold rhinestone buckle on the bow and used a silver pearl brooch that was in my jewelry box instead. |

My Jewelry
Being the cheapskate that I am, I am absolutely thrilled with the great deals I found on my jewelry
Bracelet from JC Penney
$12 This bracelet does not have the antique look that all the other jewelry has, but it matches my engagement ring so well that I had to buy it for the hand pictures. It will be so far away from the other jewelry that it won't matter.

Brooch from JC Penney
$4 I originally bought this to replace the gold rhinestone buckle on my dress, but it didn't look as good as a brooch that I already had in my jewelry box, so I didn't wear it.

Other stuff I like but did not buy...
Absolutely adore this veil from sil2op's wedding.
